Public invited to discuss Comprehensive Plan Update

          LEESBURG, FL – The City of Leesburg will conduct a community workshop on Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 10:00am–11:30am to discuss the city’s Comprehensive Plan Update. The workshop will be held at the Leesburg Resource Center, 1041 CR 468, Leesburg. The public is invited to participate.

    Comp Plan Workshop Flyer corrected      The Comprehensive Plan sets the vision and goals for the city’s future and provides the overall foundation for all land use regulations. This workshop provides citizens the opportunity to have input on the policies and parameters that will determine how Leesburg will grow and develop in the coming years. The discussion will be led by representatives from Calvin, Giordano & Associates.

          Citizens are encouraged to visit the Latest News! section on the home page of the city website at www.LeesburgFlorida.gov to find a link where they can complete a quick 10-question survey. The survey will provide an idea of some of the areas that will be covered in the update process.
