Notice of Street Closure  
Section of Griffin Road in Leesburg will close for resurfacing

          LEESBURG, FL – Contractors for the City of Leesburg Public Works Department are scheduled to resurface the section of Griffin Road between US Highway 441/27 and Peters Drive on Friday, August 4. This segment of roadway will be closed to all traffic between 9:00am and 5:00pm while work is underway. Travelers in the area should look for Route Detour Signs on Griffin Road at US Highway 441/27 as well as on Glen Ridge Drive and Marshall Drive

          Every effort will be made to minimize inconveniences during the project. The road closure is to ensure the safety of motorists, pedestrians and workers. Drivers are encouraged to follow all temporary traffic control signage for directions and adhere to the posted speed limit.
