City of Leesburg 4th of July closings

          LEESBURG, FL - City of Leesburg offices and facilities will close Tuesday, July 4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.  Closings include City Hall, the Municipal Services Center, Public Works and the Leesburg Public Library.

          There will be no garbage or bulk item collection on Tuesday, July 4. Residential and hand commercial solid waste regularly scheduled for pick up on Tuesdays will be picked up on Friday, July 7. There will be no change for dumpster service for the holiday.

          The H.O. Dabney Aquatic Center and Venetian Gardens Splash Pad will both be open on July 4. The Aquatic Center will be open with extended hours from 11:30am – 6:00pm and the Splash Pad will follow the regular schedule of 10:00am – 6:00pm.  Additional information on these amenities including locations and admission fees can be found on the Recreation Department website at www.LeesburgFlorida.gov/recreation.

          Many City services including Building Permits, Planning and Zoning applications and utility payments can be conducted online at www.LeesburgFlorida.gov.

          All City facilities will reopen on Wednesday, July 5.
