Water and electric utility service has been restored to most customers on the east side of Leesburg following a water main break Monday afternoon along Radio Road near Lake Square Mall and U.S. Highway 441.
Water customers may initially notice discolored water caused by sediments commonly found in large water lines. Those impacted should run their faucets for five to ten minutes until the water is clear again. Preferably, run the water from a faucet, shower or appliance that is farthest from the building’s outside connection to the municipal water system. Please delay any laundry until the water has flushed and returned to normal.
