City of Leesburg will close offices/facilities 
for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday

            LEESBURG, FL – City of Leesburg offices and facilities will be closed on Monday, January 16 in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday. Regular operations will resume on Tuesday, January 17.

            There will be no garbage, yard waste, bulk item or appliance collection on Monday, January 16. Residential and commercial solid waste regularly scheduled for pick up on Mondays will be picked up on Thursday, January 19. There will be no change for dumpster service for the holiday.

            The Leesburg Public Library will be closed January 16 and will reopen Tuesday, January 17 with normal operating hours.

          Many city services including building permits, planning and zoning applications and utility payments can be conducted online at www.LeesburgFlorida.gov.
