The East and West Main Street Complete Streets Planning Study is Underway
We Need Your Input!

The purpose of the East and West Main Street Complete Streets Study is to improve travel and safety for residents and visitors and provide positive economic and social impacts to the community. The study will evaluate East Main Street from Canal Street to SR 44 and West Main Street from CR 468 to US 27 for bicycle and pedestrian improvements, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) considerations, landscaping, and intersection modifications, including roundabouts.  Input from our citizens is a vital part of this process.  (Please see the survey info below)

The City of Leesburg is completing this study in partnership with the Lake-Sumter Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO). This study will coordinate and engage with community members, agencies, businesses, and government entities throughout the project in order to guide project goals, provide support and feedback for concepts and improvements, and share information about the recommended conceptual plan.
