City of Leesburg will close offices/facilities for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday

            LEESBURG, FL – City of Leesburg offices and facilities will be closed on Monday, January 17 in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday. Regular operations will resume on Tuesday, January 18.

            There will be no garbage, yard waste, bulk items, appliance or recycling collection on Monday, January 17. Residential and commercial solid waste regularly scheduled for pick up on Mondays will be picked up on Thursday, January 20. Recyclables will be collected on the next regularly scheduled recycling pick up day. There will be no change for dumpster service for the holiday.  (Solid Waste scheduling for all holidays is available by clicking here.)

            The Leesburg Public Library will be closed January 17 and will reopen Tuesday, January 18 with normal operating hours.
