City of Leesburg will close offices/facilities for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday

            LEESBURG, FL – City of Leesburg offices and facilities will be closed on Monday, January 18 in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. Regular operations will resume on Tuesday, January 19.

            There will be no garbage, yard waste, bulk items, appliance or recycling collection on Monday, January 18. Residential and commercial solid waste regularly scheduled for pick up on Monday will be picked up on Thursday, January 21. Recyclables will be collected on the next regularly scheduled recycling pick up day. There will be no change for dumpster service for the holiday.

             The Leesburg Public Library will be closed January 18 and will reopen Tuesday, January 19 with normal operating hours.
