Leesburg to hold public workshop
Public invited to discuss Downtown Master Plan  

     LEESBURG, Fla – The City of Leesburg will conduct a workshop on Thursday, May 30 at 5:30 p.m. at the Leesburg Center for The Arts, 429 West Magnolia Street, Leesburg to discuss the development of a Downtown Master Plan. This is the first meeting is a series of public planning charrettes.  The public is invited.

     The purpose of the workshop is to seek public input and create a unified community vision for improvements in the downtown corridor. The plan will identify infrastructure improvements, public policies and on-going programs to Main Street downtown Leesburgreinforce downtown’s role as the heart of the City.  This process will also help determine and prioritize the City’s next round of capital improvements. 

     GAI Consultants was recently selected by the City Commission to help create this important planning document.
