The City of Leesburg Parks and Recreation Department will host one of the year’s biggest yard sales on Saturday, March 9.
The Trash to Treasure Yard Sale will run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Leesburg Community Center, 109 E. Dixie Avenue. Local residents and organizations will sell everything from clothes and furniture to antiques, collectibles and household items. No food or weapons will be sold.
The event is a great opportunity to find bargains. But you also could make some money by registering to sell your old and unwanted items.
Cost is $10 per table. Spots are available inside and outside of the community center. Proceeds benefit Leesburg’s traveling youth basketball program. To register, visit the Parks and Recreation staff at the Leesburg Recreational Complex, 1851 Griffin Road, or call 352-728-9885.
