Leesburg is located about 40 miles northwest of Orlando, Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and other major attractions. The City of Leesburg is approximately 200 miles southeast of the state capital, Tallahassee, 80 miles northeast of Tampa, and 70 miles southwest of Daytona Beach.

Any individual possessing the qualifications may submit an application via email, fax, mail or in person at the Human Resources Office, third floor of City Hall, 501 W. Meadow St. in Leesburg. Human Resources hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with the office open at 8 a.m. weekdays.
