Lane Closures on Center Street in Leesburg
Beginning February 8
Both lanes ofCenter Street in Leesburg will close at U.S. Highway 27 (North 14th Street) for about 8 weeks beginning Thursday, February 8 while crews perform work to upgrade the electric substation at Center Street and U.S. Highway 27.
“Our electric customers will experience enhanced reliability and residents will see enhanced aesthetics,” said Leesburg Electric Director, Glenn Spurlock.
During the lane closure period, traffic will be able to use West Line Street and High Street to get around the construction work. In addition, customers will still have access to the Bank of America building from U.S. Highway 27 and from the bank’s Center Street driveway.
