Garbage Collection Schedule
Residential Garbage: (90-gal. carts and small bundles and bags of yard waste)

Residents located North of Main Street Monday and Thursday
Residents located South of Main Street Tuesday and Friday
Residents Located in Edgewater Subdivision Tuesday and Friday

Note:

Place containers within 2 feet of the curb or the edge of paved roadway with handle facing away from the curb and at least 3 feet from any obstructions such as vehicles, mailboxes, recycling bins, trees, etc. Place your container at the curb no earlier than 7:00 PM on the night prior to collection day and no later than 6:30 AM that morning. Please bring the empty container in by dusk on the same day.

You may help us efficiently schedule your bulk items and large yard waste piles service by contacting the Solid Waste Management office at 728-9878, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Leesburg Recycling: Residents are encouraged to recycle the following items: plastic bottles; laundry bottles; white, brown, and green glass bottles and food jars; aluminum and steel cans and food containers, and cardboard* and and newspapers only. Place these items in the recycling container provided by the City on your regular recycling collection day.

*Cardboard should be flattened and no larger than 2 x 3 feet.

If the Holiday falls on a Thursday:
Residential solid waste and hand commercial route will move from Thursday to Monday.
 
If the Holiday falls on a Friday:
Residential solid waste and hand commercial route will move from Friday to Tuesday.
 
No change for dumpster service on any Holiday
 
If your recycling day falls on a Holiday it will be picked up on your next scheduled recycling day.
