Surveying is an important part of the Engineering Division. The Surveying Technicians are responsible for the collection of sub millimeter accurate information for the purposes of creating legal descriptions, showing topographical details of land within the City of Leesburg, and constructing new structures with precision accuracy. The ability to record, research, and create information is of great value to the City, saving time and money by removing the expensive process of outsourcing. This facilitates the collection and utilization of accurate and precise data in a timely manner.
