The Criminal Investigations Division consists of five detectives, one detective corporal, one detective sergeant, and the division commander. The Road Patrol Division supplies an additional two officers which make up the narcotics investigation unit.

During 2005 the department recovered $434,127.00 in property value. The Criminal Investigations Division was able clear 21% of their assigned felony cases with 214 cases resulting in felony arrests.
