The Leesburg City Commission is the legislative branch of the City Government and operates in accordance with the provisions of Article I, Section 6 of the City Charter. The City Commission is responsible for enacting ordinances and resolutions, and approving contracts that the City Manager administers as chief executive officer. The City Commission is comprised of 5 citizens elected to staggered 4-year terms.

City Commission meets on the second and fourth Mondays of each month in the Commission Chambers, Third Floor, City Hall, 501 W. Meadow Street. Additional meetings and workshops may be scheduled as needed. All meetings are open to the Public to participate in our legislative process.
