Gary Wayne, a Master Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, will be presenting a program called, "Forget the Die Its, Learn to Live it!" at the Leesburg Public Library on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at 11 AM in meeting room A. The seminar will focus on altering our lifestyles, changing one thing a month for a year in order to live more fully, more healthfully. The public is invited and there is no charge for the program.

Free guided tours of the Mote Morris House, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places, are offered on the second and fourth Saturday of every month.
The two story house with a four story tower was built in 1892 for either-term Leesburg mayor, Edward H. Mote and his wife Lucretia for about $9,000. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. We had aproximately 4,300 visitors in the Mote Morris House in 2007.
Groups can also arrange for tours during the week by contacting the Leesburg Heritage Museum Curator Rick Reed at 728-9424.
The Mote Morris House and Gazebo are also avaiable for weddings and special events by contacting our Facility Manager, Deidre Boger, at 728-9898.

Will be meeting and greeting handicap people and anyone interested in learning about handicap people from Lake and Sumter County only. FREE..
Will also get chance to talk of problems that handicap ones have such as disability and banks
being 1 to 2 days late paying out our disiblity;
problems with parking; stores not supporting
or helping handicap or having mobile carts for the handicap or not enough; or other problems you face that you can share freely with everyone at the event.
